Hazel Marie Walton

Hazel Marie Walton, 64, of Malvern passed away January 3, 2014.
Hazel was born October 4, 1949 in Walla Walla, WA to Edward and Linda Simmons. Hazel loved camping. Hazel was very spiritual and loved reading her bible. She was a member of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church.
Hazel is predeceased by her parents and one sister, Betty Simmons.
Hazel is survived by her husband of 45 years, Raymond Walton of Malvern; one daughter, Tina Marie Walton-Conklin of Malvern; one brother, John (Donna) Simmons of Leola; three sisters: Anne Norwood of Sheridan, Linda Galloway of Malvern, and Genie Hicks of Malvern; one sister-in-law, Doris Walton Herring of Donaldson; three grandchildren: David (Hayle) Morrow, Roger Morrow, and James Morrow; and one great-grandchild, Haidyn Morrow.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Damascus Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Billy Bosley and Brother Ricky Poyner officiating. Burial will be at Damascus Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Simmon II, Tony Norwood, Terry Walton, Dusty Walton, Robert Draper, and Kevin Draper. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. A.H. Tilley and & Hospice of Central Arkansas.
